Doctor Honoris Causa of the University of Nova Gorica Dr. Christer Fuglesang, an astronaut of the European Space Agency ESA, will again fly into the space in late August. Dr. Fuglesang is a crew member of the space shuttle Discovery on the STS-128 mission to the International Space Station (ISS).

EILC Grant approved to the University of Nova Gorica

In April 2009, the Erasmus Intensive Language Courses (EILC) Grant was approved to the University of Nova Gorica, which will enable the University to organise an intensive course of basic Slovene for incoming Erasmus students and Comenius assistants involved in the mobility programmes at all eligible Slovene educational institutions.
