On Friday, 15 May, 2015, the Rector of the University of Nova Gorica Prof. Dr. Danilo Zavrtanik and the head manager of the Veterinary Hospital Vipava Ivan Princes s.p., Mag. Ivan Princes signed an agreement which gives the Veterinary Hospital Vipava Ivan Princes s.p. the status of an associate organisation of the University of Nova Gorica and became an integral part of the University of Nova Gorica’s system.

A yearly conference of European energy managers took place in Prague between 21 and 23 April 2015. This year, Ivana Kacafura from the GOLEA agency was present as well.

The female handball team Mlinotest Ajdovščina achieved an exceptional success in Ljubljana on Saturday. After many years, they managed to beat the virtually unbeatable female handball team Krim Merctor, who won at the state championship 20 times.

A monograph titled Fuzzy Algebraic Hyperstructures: An Introduction and co-written by Assistant Professor Dr. Irina Cristea, a member of the Center for Systems and Information Technologies of the University of Nova Gorica, and Prof. Dr. Bijan Davvaz, one of the key researchers in the area that the book describes, was just published by the world-renowned publishing house Springer.
