UNG na sejmu World Education Fair v Sofiji, 21. 3. 2026

V Sofiji, v Bolgariji, je 21. marca 2026 potekal tradicionalni mednarodni izobraževalni sejem World Education Fair. UNG so na stojnici Study in Slovenia zastopali koordinator pobude Study in Slovenia Marko Kastelic (CMEPIUS) ter osebje Veleposlaništva RS v Sofiji.

Tako stojnica kot predstavitev v živo v dvorani sta letos pritegnili še posebej veliko bodočih študentov in tudi njihovih staršev, ki so imeli priložnost spoznati prednosti študija na UNG in drugih slovenskih univerzah. Spoznavali so tudi možnosti mednarodne mobilnosti v okviru programov kot je Erasmus+ in zavezništev evropskih univerz, vključno z zavezništvom Across, katerega članica je UNG.

Zahvaljujemo se Veleposlaništvu RS v Sofiji za možnost sodelovanja na sejmu in podporo na samem dogodku in CMEPIUS-u za predstavljanje. Hvala tudi organizatorju sejma - podjetju Integral EDU, ki je s pametnim sistemom registracije obiskovalcev bodočim študentom podal personalizirano izbiro najprimernejše študijske destinacije, nas pa razveselil s podatkom, da je bila Slovenija prva študijska izbira kar številnih mladih!

In Sofia, Bulgaria, the traditional international education fair World Education Fair took place on March 21, 2026. The University of Nova Gorica was represented at the Study in Slovenia stand by the Study in Slovenia initiative coordinator Marko Kastelic (CMEPIUS) and staff from the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Sofia.

This year, both the stand and the live presentation in the hall attracted a large number of prospective students, as well as their parents, who had the opportunity to learn about the advantages of studying at UNG and other Slovenian universities. At the event, also mobility programmes like Erasmus+ were presented, as well as European university alliances, including Across, whose member is also the University of Nova Gorica.

We would like to thank the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Sofia for the opportunity to participate in the fair and for their support during the event, as well as CMEPIUS for representing us. Special thanks also go to the fair organizer, Integral EDU, whose smart visitor registration system provided prospective students with a personalized selection of the most suitable study destination, and delighted us with the information that Slovenia was the first choice of study destination for many young people!
