Obisk dijakinj in dijakov programa Tehniška gimnazija ŠC Nova Gorica, 29. 5. 2026
Danes, 29. 5. 2026, smo na Univerzi v Novi Gorici gostili 65 dijakov in dijakinj 1. in 2. letnikov programa Tehniška gimnazija Šolskega centra Nova Gorica. Najprej so spoznali projekt GoChile in možnost vključitve v astronomska opazovanja in poletne šole astronomije.
Ob današnji otvoritvi letne razstave študentk in študentov Akademije umetnosti UNG so obiskovalcem pripravili tudi vodeno predstavitev razstavljenih študentskih umetniških del.

Today, on 29th May 2026, UNG hosted 65 first- and second-year students from the Nova Gorica School Centre. The visit began with a presentation of the GoChile project and the opportunities it offers for participation in astronomical observations and summer schools of astronomy. Student Sanja Dumenčić vividly shared her experience of studying Physics and Astrophysics at the School of Science, as well as her involvement in the above-mentioned student astronomy project.
Students interested in the natural sciences were introduced to various environmental topics by colleagues from the Laboratory for Environmental and Life Sciences and the School of Environmental Sciences during a guided tour of the university’s research laboratories. Those with a stronger interest in the humanities could attend a workshop organised by the School of Humanities on creative industries and digitalisation.
As the opening of the annual exhibition of students from the School of Arts is taking place today, visitors were also given a guided presentation of the student artworks created for the exhibition.
During the visit to our university, the students also learned about the general advantages of studying at our university and the opportunities for international exchanges within programmes such as Erasmus+ and ACROSS.
We would like to sincerely thank the school for their visit and wish everyone a successful end to the school year.
