31st International Specialized Symposium on Yeast - ISSY31

Under the auspices of ICY (International Comission on Yeasts), during 9-12 October 2014, in Vipava and Nova Gorica, Slovenia we are organizing the 31st International Specialized Symposium on Yeast (ISSY31), which is focused on Yeast fermentations: the yeasts, the pathways and their regulation, and the industrial fermentations (beer, wine, bioethanol, protein production, etc).

University of Nova Gorica Week and begining of the new Academic year 2013/2014

As customary for the beginning of the new academic year, the University of Nova Gorica is organizing several events, all part of the so called University of Nova Gorica Week.

University of Nova Gorica will be present at this year's MOS Fair (International Trade Fair) which is organized by the Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia. The Fair will be taking place in Celje between 10 and 15 September, 2014.

The School of Humanities and the Research Center for Humanities at the University of Nova Gorica will participate at the 29th Vilenica International Literary Festival with a program titled From Language to Language. It will take place between 2 and 7 September, 2014 in the Karst region and alsewhere around Slovenia.

Once again, the University of Nova Gorica's School for Viticulture and Enology will be present at the international agricultural and food Fair which will take place between 23rd and 28th August, 2014 in Gornja Radgona, Slovenia.

In the context of Media Arts and Practices study programme, the University of Nova Gorica School of Arts, in cooperation with the Academy of Applied Arts of University of Rijeka, Graz University of Technology and University of Udine, as partner institutions in ADRIART project, is organizing a festival called MAP in MOTION, which is being held separately at different locations.
