University of Nova Gorica invites to the lecture »The unbearable lightness of Neutrinos« by Prof. Goran Senjanović (Gran Sasso Science Institute, L'Aquila and International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy).

Lecture will take place on Tuesday, 24 May 2016 at 7 p.m. at the Lanthieri mansion in Vipava.

Nowadays, neutrinos are recognized to be extremely powerful tools to probe early Universe cosmology and high energy processes in astrophysical sources (with the first high energy astrophysical neutrinos detected for the first time in 2013). In this talk, prof. Senjanović will tell a story of the developments in our understanding of this mysterious particles, from the perspectives of one of the fathers of the field. Lecture will be in English.
