Individual approach, small study groups

As a small-scale and student-centered university, the University of Nova Gorica has the opportunity and privilege to offer its students an individual approach with an exceptionally favourable students-lecturers number ratio and studying in small groups. Consequently, the lecturers know their students’ interests and areas of excel well enough to guide the students towards their own peak performance and include them into various extra academic activities and projects. Individual approach is also a huge advantage for PhD students all the students of all levels who need specially tailored modes of study, such as students athletes and fully-employed students.

We also take provide undergraduate students support in the form of the free revision courses in mathematics, physics and chemistry, which are carried out before the start of each academic year, in UNG premises and also online. The students can revise their previously obtained knowledge and start their first semester in a more confident way.

Moreover, as one of the registered European Talent Points, the University of Nova Gorica highly encourages the students to develop and nurture their talents and skills – in their study areas, as well as in other personal fields of interest. The students can thus enjoy individual support of their lecturers and mentors in participating in various extracurricular activities and events and get the most of their studies.
