About the war in Ukraine

Dear colleagues,

The University of Nova Gorica is shocked by the aggression of one European country against another in our close neighbourhood. A sad fact, unimaginable yesterday, is a cruel reality of today. As an institution devoted to academic values, we do not want to venture into the realpolitik swamp, but simply wish the dispute to end in a peaceful manner. To all friends, colleagues and students from both countries involved, who have already suffered or may suffer from this outbreak in the future, we will offer all the help we can, in order to ease the consequences of the conflict.
