ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE RESULTS OF THE ELECTION OF THE DEAN OF THE SCHOOL OF ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES

Following the voting in the extraordinary election of the Dean of the University of Nova Gorica School of Environmental Sciences, held on 10 July 2026, the Election Commission, in its Report on the Results of the Election of the Dean of the University of Nova Gorica School of Environmental Sciences, established that the voter turnout in the individual electoral groups was as follows:

In the electoral group of higher education teachers, researchers, and higher education associates, 13 out of 20 eligible voters cast their votes, representing 65% voter turnout.
In the electoral group of students, 3 out of 38 eligible voters cast their votes, representing 7.89% voter turnout.
In the electoral group of other employees, 1 out of 3 eligible voters cast their vote, representing 33.33% voter turnout.

A total of 17 eligible voters participated in the election.

53% of the weighted votes were cast in favour of Blaž Belec.

47% of the weighted votes were cast in favour of Matteo De March.

The Senate of the School of Environmental Sciences will adopt the formal resolution confirming the election results at its 125th regular session on 2 September 2026.
