From Lab to the Market - A unique opportunity for startups!
University of Nova Gorica, as a partner of the project NANOFORCE, organizes a guided and quick opportunity to develop business ideas and obtain funding for startup businesses, entrepreneurs, researchers and scientists.
Under the project we invite startups, researchers, scientists and potential business groups which develop new nanotechnological products and services in the field of new materials, biotechnology, nanomedicine, pharmaceutical, clean technology/energy, electronics, sensors or devices, to sign in for the call for startups firms "from the laboratory to the market" and you apply for a:
- 2-day group training (Boot Camp) and a one-day bilateral meetings with the mentors from network Maverick Angels Silicon Valley Startup Initiative organized by Intesa Sanpaolo (Venice, 26th to 28th November 2013)
- presentation of your ideas and companies to investors, scientists and industrial partners (Venice, 29th November 2013)
- the final competition 360by360'''', organized by the private equity firm 360 Capital Partners, specialized in venture capital investments (Milan, 3rd December 2013)
Scientific Commission will select 12 applicants with the most innovative, technologically sophisticated and market promising ideas that have excellent operational and financial plan, and excellent leadership and team. Other applicants will will have the opportunity to present their ideas/ business on Poster session and on meetings with investors and businessmen on 29th November 2013.

Start:up Slovenia Initiative in the Start:up centers in Nova Gorica, Ljubljana, Maribor, Celje and Kranj offers individual personal counseling and mentoring in the development of business ideas, preparing a business plan and budget, establishment of the initial steps of the realization of entrepreneurial vision to all registered teams before the »Boot Camp« in Venice.
Select the closest Start:up center ( http://startup.si/sl-si/start-up-centri/lokacije ) as soon as possible to arrange the first meeting. Counselling will be implemented by business consultants from Start:up centers and a network of experts from technological parks and incubators.
