Lionella Costantini, graduate of the BA study programme Slovene Studies

"Studying Slovene Studies at the University of Nova Gorica provided me with an in-depth understanding of the Slovene language, literature, and culture. As an Italian student, I particularly appreciated the opportunity to immerse myself in a Slovene-speaking environment on a daily basis and to overcome the initial language challenges. The small class sizes allowed for close interaction with professors, which helped me progress more quickly and gain greater confidence in expressing myself.

The academic environment was supportive and creative, which had a positive impact on my overall well-being. The entire experience contributed significantly to both my personal and academic development and opened up opportunities for building connections between Italian and Slovene culture."
