UNG Student athlete testimonial: Manca Pislak

“Tennis has been a part of my life since I was 6 years old. I’ve won multiple national titles, and in the Juniors category my best result was quarterfinals of the Australian Open in 2015, I was also in 500th place in WTA women rankings. I’ve just come back after a year’s absence due to an injury and last week I won a professional tournaments in Portugal. Due to my engagement in sports, studying at the same time is a real effort. But I’m aware of the fact that it’s very important to obtain a degree, so I’ve decided to enroll to the University of nova Gorica, which helps me in making my wish true. As I’m absent from lectures most of the academic year, distance learning is a great advantage for me. I’m already looking forward to the new academic year.”
