What's going on at the wine Research Centre?

Event description:

The Wine Research Centre of the University of Nova Gorica is located in the Lanthieri mansion in Vipava, in the heart of the wine-growing region. The centre's research team members have rich research and practical experience. At the event we would like to present to the general public our latest achievements through the following two presentations:

• Dr. Erika Jež will hold a lecture in which she will explain what happens to the nutrients in the vineyard soil if winegrowers use plastic equipment and tools;
• Assist. Prof. Dr. Mitja Martelanc will hold a practical demonstration on how to define the aromatic profile of wine by using advanced analyses. The event will be carried out in the form of a workshop during which the participants will discover that the research going on at the Wine Research Centre is truly contemporary and raises international public attention.
