UNG at the 16th UNSA Study Expo Fair in Sarajevo, 7th October 2026

On 7 October 2026, we participated in the UNSA Study Expo Scholarship and Higher Education Fair in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The fair was organised for the sixteenth consecutive year by the University of Sarajevo.

At our exhibition stand, we introduced secondary school students to the study programmes offered by the University of Nova Gorica and highlighted the advantages of studying at our university, including an individual approach to students, small-group teaching, an international and inclusive study environment, and opportunities to participate in research projects while pursuing their studies.

We also presented international mobility programmes such as Erasmus+ and opportunities to participate in the ACROSS European Cross-Border University Alliance, of which the University of Nova Gorica is a member.

ACROSS offers students, researchers and the wider public opportunities for international cooperation and mobility, an enriched joint study offer—including summer and winter schools, student conferences and training programmes—as well as access to high-quality research equipment.

We participated in the event as part of the Study in Slovenia initiative and in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Sarajevo. At its information stand, the Embassy provided prospective students with guidance on the procedure for obtaining a temporary residence permit in Slovenia for study purposes, along with other useful information about studying and living in Slovenia.
