Visit of the Task Team 1.2 of the Across Alliance

On Thursday, 9th April 2026, members of the Task Team 1.2 of the Across Alliance visited the University of Nova Gorica campus in Vipava. This task team is responsible for establishing the Across Alliance as a legal entity. The visit was part of a 2-day meeting of the entire TT1.2, which was organised by our alliance partner, the University of Udine. Following an opening address by the UNG rector, Prof. Dr. Boštjan Golob, the visit continued with a short presentation of the Lanthieri Mansion by Jana Kete from the TRG Vipava Tourism Institute, a tour of the laboratories of the WRC Wine Research Centre and a wine tasting, led by the WRC's head, Asst. Prof. Dr. Melita Sternad Lemut, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Mitja Martelanc from the School for Viticulture and Enology at the University of Nova Gorica. The visit was an excellent opportunity for closer collaboration among members of the Across Alliance.
