Seminar "Intelligent control applications: successful cases" 18th September 2024

This lecture presents an overview of solutions to real problems in various fields, using different approaches to artificial intelligence. A collection of applications is described, many of them in the field of systems engineering and automatic control, of a certain complexity, in which these techniques are shown to be suitable and which, in many cases, are complementary to each other or to classic control system design or optimization techniques. The applications presented respond to real-life problems where intelligent control has played an important role in the efficiency and proper functioning of processes, and cover very varied areas: autonomous vehicles, industrial processes, decision systems, precision agriculture, aerospace, wind turbines, finance, etc.
