In December 2024, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia officially declared 1 March as National Inclusion Day. This year, the University of Nova Gorica is marking the occasion for the first time with a special exhibition that creates space for reflection and dialogue on how we build an open, accessible, and inclusive university environment in our everyday work.

The exhibition of video contributions and posters is the result of collaboration among numerous university units – schools, laboratories, centres, professional services, and the Student Council. The diversity of contributors reflects the very essence of inclusion: every voice matters, every perspective is important, and together we create a space where everyone has the opportunity to participate, grow, and contribute.

The aim of the exhibition is to open a platform for the exchange of views, experiences, suggestions, and good practices. Inclusion is not a one-time act, but a continuous process – an ongoing reflection on whether we are truly accessible and inclusive enough.

The exhibition is on view from 2 to 8 March 2026 at three locations of the University of Nova Gorica:
• Entrance hall in Rožna Dolina, Nova Gorica (Vipavska 13)
• Entrance hall in Ajdovščina (Vipavska 11c)
• Entrance hall of Lanthieri Mansion in Vipava (Glavni trg 8)

You are warmly invited to visit the exhibition, join the discussion, and help us build a more inclusive University of Nova Gorica together!
