A long-time Provost of the University of Nova Gorica, Acad. Prof. Dr. Boštjan Žekš is the recipient of the Zois award for life achievements

In the Linhart Hall of the Cankar Cogress Center in Ljubljana, these awards were given out on November 27, 2018: the Zois award for life achievements, the Puh award for life achievements, the Zois award for outstanding achievements, the Puh award for outstanding achievements, the Zois award for important achievements, the Puh award for introducing new scientific results into the economic and social practice, and the Ambassador of Science of the Republic of Slovenia Certificate.
