Conference "Time and Matter 2007"
The Laboratory for astroparticle physics of the University of Nova Gorica is hosting an international conference »Time and Matter 2007«, taking place from August 26th-31st, 2007, at Grand Hotel Toplice, Lake Bled. The aim of the conference is to present multiple aspects of time and matter in all fields of physics, from elementary particles to galactic and cosmological proportions.
The conference lectures start on Monday, August 27th, at 9:30 AM, with the opening address to the participants given by dr. Jure Zupan, Minister for Higher Education, Science and Technology of Slovenia.
The lectures will cover in detail state-of-the-art precision in measurements of time, causality and superluminal signal propagation, problems of coherence, decoherence and entanglement, CP and T violation, quantum gravity, time reversal, arrow of time, Big Bang evolution and the structure formation of the Universe.
