Autumn Studio Re_Cre_In on Regenerative, Creative & Inclusive Place Making
You are warmly invited to an intensive seasonal one-day workshop bringing together artists, designers, cultural operators, and creative thinkers (in-person and online) of the European Capital of Culture 2025.
The Studio acts as a shared space for dialogue, exchange, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, exploring how creativity moves across borders. Divided into three modules, the intensive workshop covers three key themes of the cross-border training course of the Peripheral Visions project.
Through meetings with key creative actors of ECoC 2025, the workshop reveals how places are co-produced through aesthetic, material, and social practices. It highlights the role of art, heritage, memory, craft, and design in strengthening community cohesion and supporting sustainable cultural development.
Participants leave with:
- a deeper understanding of creative place-making theory and practice
- insights from leading local and international practitioners
- the ability to apply creative place-making principles to real environments and cross-disciplinary projects
