At the School of Arts of the University of Nova Gorica, as part of the international KAKI – The Tree of Life project, a symbolic planting of a persimmon tree – a tree of hope, peace, and resilience – will be held during the week of 6–8 October 2025.

The persimmon tree, which survived the atomic bomb in Nagasaki, now represents a universal symbol of rebirth and connection worldwide.
You are warmly invited to join the series of events that connect art, nature, and the message of peace, and to participate in the official tree planting.”
