Open Call – International Student Scientific Conference “StES 2025”

The University of Banja Luka, member of the ACROSS European University Alliance, warmly invites students to actively participate in the International Student Scientific Conference StES – Students Encountering Science 2025.

The conference will take place from 27th to 29th November 2025, at the University of Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Organized by the Student Parliament of the University of Banja Luka and the Student Union of Republic of Srpska, with support from the Ministry of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education, StES brings together students from around the Europe to present their research, exchange ideas, and foster international academic cooperation.

Who can participate?
Undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD students from all scientific fields:
• Natural Sciences
• Engineering and Technology
• Medical and Health Sciences
• Biotechnical and Agricultural Sciences
• Social Sciences
• Humanities

Participation fee:
• Early-bird (until August 15, 2025): EUR 35
• Later registration (until September 15, 2025): EUR 45

One conference fee is tied exclusively to one person and covers a maximum of two submitted papers/abstracts, accommodation (2 nights in Banja Luka), and publishing the paper/abstract in the conference proceedings.

Abstract & paper submission deadlines:
• Early submission: August 20, 2025
• Final deadline: September 15, 2025
