University of Nova Gorica at InCastra 2025

This year, UNG also took part in InCastra – Ajdovščina Industry and Entrepreneurship Day, a traditional event that attracts numerous curious visitors of all ages.

The event, organised by the Ljudska univerza Ajdovščina (Adult Education Centre Ajdovščina), took place on 19 and 20 September 2025 in Ajdovščina.

In addition to the usual workshops and experiment demonstrations, we offered visitors an astronomy corner, prepared by the School of Science in collaboration with the Cosmolab Institute. Using telescopes, we safely observed the Sun, sunspots, and solar flares!

At the event, also the Across Alliance was presented, focusing on the opportunities it brings to youth, citizens in general and the local industry.
