UNG at the largest educational fair in Slovenia - Informativa 2025

On Friday and Saturday, 17 and 18 January 2025, the University of Nova Gorica presented itself at the Informativa education and career fair.

The following schools took part in the presentation: the School of Environmental Sciences, the School of Engineering and Management, the School of Science, the School of Humanities, the School of Viticulture and Enology, the School of Arts, and the Graduate School.
Students and staff introduced the study programmes, the study process and its specific features, accommodation options, student exchanges, adapted study arrangements for student athletes, and all other activities related to student life to young people who are still deciding on their study choices.

The presentation was enriched with demonstrations and glimpses of practical work. Together with students of the School of Environmental Sciences, visitors could test their knowledge of alien invasive plant and animal species; students of Physics and Astrophysics demonstrated how a resonance plate and a plasma ball work, as well as various physics gadgets; students of Engineering and Management showcased the “lego-robot” and “CUBOT”, devices designed to solve a Rubik’s cube.
Students of Viticulture and Enology introduced visitors to a world of pleasant aromas and invited them to challenge their sensory skills, while students of the School of Humanities engaged visitors with a quiz on the cultural-historical, literary, and linguistic interconnections of coffee and chocolate. Students of the School of Arts held an animation workshop.

At the event, we also presented the ACROSS Alliance and the advantages it offers to young people.
