UNG at November career fairs across Slovenia

In November, the University of Nova Gorica presented itself at several education and career fairs in Slovenia.

On 12 and 13 November 2025, the university participated in the Career Fair "Space of Opportunities" in Maribor, where we introduced young people to our study programmes and the opportunities offered by the Across Alliance – European University, an alliance of European universities.

On 13 November 2025, UNG explored the world of professions and knowledge together with young people in Nova Gorica – at the 2025 Career Promotion Day, as many as 470 ninth-grade pupils from 13 primary schools in the Goriška region explored their future paths — among them also the University of Nova Gorica, where science, art, and technology meet creativity. The event was organised by the Nova Gorica Regional Chamber of Commerce.

In Nova Gorica, another career fair took place at the Nova Gorica Grammar School on 27 November 2025, where UNG was also represented – the event Choose Your Study, organised by LUNG – the Adult Education Centre Nova Gorica. The event offered young people a space for exploration, questions, new insights, and reflection on the direction of their future.

At all three events, UNG also presented the opportunities offered by the Across Alliance – European University, of which our university is a member.

The Alliance brings together nine European universities and one associate member, including the University of Nova Gorica, and unites more than 110,000 students and 11,000 staff members across Europe. ACROSS offers students, researchers, and the wider public opportunities for international cooperation and mobility, a joint and enriched study offer, and access to high-quality research equipment.
