Round table Women in STEM
Prof. Dr. Gabrijela Zaharijas, researcher at the Centre for Astrophysics and Cosmology at the University of Nova Gorica and the leader of the SMASH project, was an invited speaker at the Women in STEM event, which took place on the 4th March 2026 at the University of Udine.
The event is part of a broader campaign aimed at debunking myths about women in science and highlighting the many top female scientists at the partner universities of the Across Alliance, of which the University of Nova Gorica and the University of Udine are members. The campaign was initiated by The University of Udine and team task 1.4, which strives for greater inclusion, gender equality and diversity within the Across Alliance.
