Online presentation of the Erasmus+ programme and the ACROSS European Cross-Border University Alliance mobility opportunities

On Tuesday, 16th December 2025, over 20 students of the University of Nova Gorica attended an Erasmus+ programe online presentation, where they learnt about opportunities for study or traineeship mobility abroad, as well as the application procedure for mobilities in the 2026/27 academic year.

The event was especially interesting as it hosted representatives of partner universities from the ACROSS European Cross-Border University Alliance, of which University of Nova Gorica is a member. Giancarlo Lauto and Graźyna Jakimiuk presented mobility opportunities at their institutions, the University of Udine (Università degli Studi di Udine, Italy) and the Bialystok University of Technology (Poland), respectively. Across Alliance, particularly its Team Tasks 2.3 and 3.1, actively promotes student mobility between member universities.

Students also had the chance to hear first-hand experiences from two students from the School of Arts at the University of Nova Gorica, who had already taken part in Erasmus+ mobility programmes. Vukašin Panić shared his insights about a five-day intensive programme on Joyful Technologies in Girona, while Neda Ivanović shared her experience of a semester-long animation programme in Estonia. Panić emphasized multiple times that although his Erasmus+ program lasted only five days, the experience was unforgettable.
