CALL: Co-financing of one-day visits by professional and teaching staff from the University of Udine to the University of Nova Gorica as part of the Across project

From the development pillar of funding (Ministry of higher education, science and innovation), the Across office is announcing a call for co-financing one-day visits by professional and teaching staff from the University of Udine who are collaborating with employees at the University of Nova Gorica as part of the Across project. Collaboration is considered to be meetings that cover one of three area:

1. developing cross-border cooperation between Across work packages and working groups,
2. preparing for pedagogical cooperation between UNIUD and UNG,
3. preparing for research cooperation between UNIUD and UNG.

The following are eligible to receive funds under the call for proposals:

• Across task team members at the University of Nova Gorica;
• professional and teaching staff from the University of Nova Gorica who are developing educational cooperation with the University of Udine in one of the four focus areas of the Across alliance (Education in a cross-border context / Culture, language, identity, and heritage / Economic, Public Policy, and Social Development / Management of Natural Resources);
• professional and teaching staff from the University of Nova Gorica who are developing research cooperation with the University of Udine within one of the four focus areas of the Across alliance (Education in a cross-border context / Culture, language, identity, and heritage / Economic, Public Policy, and Social Development / Management of Natural Resources).

Funds may be claimed for meetings starting between March 26, 2026, and November 31, 2026.

Application deadline: from the date of publication of the call until March 18, 2026

Value of the call for 2026: EUR 6,286.60

As per the call for proposals, a committee appointed by the Rector of the University of Nova Gorica will fund up to three joint workshops. Applicants will be notified of their selection or non-selection by March 25, 2026.

Subject of the call:

Funds are allocated to cover the direct costs of a one-day meeting between the University of Udine and the University of Nova Gorica. Eligible costs are: IT support, travel expenses, meals, and other direct costs incurred during the visit.
