Practical training / summer work
Through practical training, students are focused on practical work, and above all, it tries to harmonize their knowledge with the needs of the economy. The purpose of practical training is for the student to test in practice the theoretical knowledge acquired during the study. Practical training is certainly one of the first opportunities to gain work experience.
At University of Nova Gorica a compulsory practical training is provided at:
- School of Engineering and Management
- School for Viticulture and Enology
- School of Environmental Sciences
- School of Humanities, on programme Cultural History.
At the Schools, the first practical experience is also gained through laboratory, field and project work, and at the School of Arts by participating in various workshops, festivals, etc.
It is also important that the students purposefully choose summer and other student work so that they gain useful and necessary work experience for later employment during your studies. So try to choose jobs that suit your future profession.
