Information for citizens of countries that are not Member States of the European Union and Slovenians abroad and around the world
Application for enrollment
Slovenians abroad and around the world, as well as citizens of non-EU countries, apply under the same conditions and within the same deadlines as citizens of the Republic of Slovenia, citizens of European Union member states, foreign citizens with permanent residence in the Republic of Slovenia, who themselves or at least one of their parents or guardians are residents of the Republic of Slovenia for tax purposes, and persons with recognized international or temporary protection.
Candidates, who have a foreign certificate of academic achievements and wish to continue their education in the Republic of Slovenia must have a decision acknowledging their right for further education at the university study programmes.
Special note
Higher education institutions must conduct a direct interview with any foreign citizen coming from a country with higher migration risk and whose citizens must have visas when crossing the external borders of the European Union. The interview assesses the candidate’s suitability in relation to the admission requirements of the study programme. Candidates will receive instructions at the contact email address they provided in their application for enrolment.
