Objectives and competences
The main purpose of the practical course is still to actively introduce students to practical work and thus to familiarise them with the professional nature of the work and with current issues in viticulture and winemaking. The main objective of the course is to allow students to combine and improve the acquired theoretical knowledge with the practical experience of the mentors in the field.
Prerequisites
Completed 2nd year or enrollment in the 3rd year of study program.
Content
- Instruction in the duties and organization of the course internship 2.
- Arrangement of the students according to their wishes and our possibilities (arrangements with external mentors).
- Preparation of the framework or student recommendations for individual sets of PU.
- After each set of PU submits reports in the form of minutes.
- At the end, an oral defense in the form of an interview with an internal mentor.
Intended learning outcomes
Practical knowledge from various work environments related to viticulture and winemaking and wine marketing.
Assessment
Positive report, written report, defence report to school mentor.
