UNISCAPE Landscape Festival 23-24-25 June 2025
On the Borders of the Planet
UNISCAPE warmly invites contributions from its member and sister universities and organizations, engaged with the landscape cause, to actively participate in the UNISCAPE Landscape Festival, entitled On the Borders of the Planet.
This event forms part of the Official Programme of GO! Borderless Nova Gorica/Gorizia – European Capital of Culture 2025, offering a dynamic platform for creative exchange, academic exploration, and cultural engagement on pressing landscape issues.
We invite interdisciplinary teams of students, researchers, and mentors from UNISCAPE-affiliated universities, interested universities and sister organizations to submit visual contributions that explore the theme “Landscape, Borders, Borderscapes, and the Migrating Nature of People and Nature”.
The selected 25 contributions will be exhibited in the European Capital of Culture 2025 and up to 50 will be published in a final catalogue/atlas. This call encourages radical imagination and diverse, art-based approaches to exploring the borders of both physical and conceptual landscapes.
