Professional associate (m/f/o)

University of Nova Gorica is looking for a highly motivated colleague to support UNG as partner for the EU project named Re-Value, HORIZONEUROPE and GreeInCities, HORIZONEUROPE and DECORATOR, DANUBE programme. The colleague will join a highly motivated team and work in a multidisciplinary environment.

Main responsibilities

• Support on the Design and Conceptual elaboration of plans and urban/landscape design solutions;
• Processing the digitalization and design, including rendering, photo editing, etc.
• Support in the research and publishing of scientific articles on project related activities and contents;
• Assistance to the coordination of projects implementation, including reports, deliverables, milestones, etc.
• Manage the project-related external and internal communication (website, social media, mailing, etc);
• Support the CHS unit is other scientific and administrative duties when necessary;

Job requirements - professional associate

• Higher education professional degree or first Bologna cycle degree in architecture, urban planning, landscape architecture;
• Independence, flexibility, precision and accuracy, adaptability to team-work and motivation on the call topics;
• Fluent spoken and written Slovenian and English;
• Experience with EU or EU member state grant management and reporting, at global, national or local level, is desirable;
• Experience and/or Interest in culture, cultural industries and cultural heritage is desirable.
• Similar experience working for another research or academic institution is desirable.
• Availability to travel;
• 2 years of working experience.

Workplace
The work place will be at the UNG premises in Rožna Dolina, Vipavska Cesta 13, Nova Gorica, Slovenia.
A one full-time temporary contract will be offered, with possible extension. Start of the position as soon as possible.
