Winners of the literary-visual competition Time Vortices* (2023/2024)

The winners of the student literary-visual competition Time Vortices are announced.

The student literary-visual competition Time Vortices was organised by the Faculty of Humanities and the Academy of Arts of the University of Nova Gorica on the occasion of the 550th anniversary of the birth of Nicolaus Copernicus.
The focus of the competition was to question the human relationship to time and space.

In the visual part of the competition, the most compelling works were by Gaja Šubic Jurjavčič (The Spiral Vortex) and Maje Mamič (30 Seconds, Portal of the Night and Sebek in the Sun), who shared first prize. The prizes for literary entries go to Suzana Lipanje (1st prize) for Time Vortices, Iva Topolovec (2nd prize) for The Persistence of Memory and Isaac Škrobar (3rd prize) for Under the Sky's Skyline.
