Best Personality in Publishing - Prof. Dr. Barbara Pregelj
The Congress of Publishers awarded the title of “Best Personality in Publishing” to Prof. Dr. Barbara Pregelj, Ph.D. in Literature, researcher, translator, editor, and associate professor at the School of Humanities at the University of Nova Gorica.
As stated in the award’s justification, Prof. Dr. Barbara Pregelj’s research and theoretical work focuses on various aspects of the reception of Spanish literature in Slovenian literature, translation issues, literary interpretation, and youth literature. All of this is reflected in her publishing work, which has expanded into new areas of activity. Her contribution to the promotion of reading culture and literary awareness in society has been invaluable.
Prof. Dr. Barbara Pregelj entered Slovenian publishing in 2012, “when she became the driving force and the mastermind behind the Malinc publishing house”.
