Post-doctoral associate in the field of slovene studies and lecturer for slovene language (m/f)
The University of Nova Gorica has a vacancy for a post-doctoral associate in the field of slovene studies and lecturer for slovene language.

All candidates interested in the position of a post-doctoral associate and lecturer at the research-oriented University of Nova Gorica are welcome to apply. The work will be conducted at the School of Humanities and the Center for Cognitve Science of Language in a dynamic and interdisciplinary research environment with a pronounced international character.
In the position of postdoctoral associate in the field of Slovene studies, the selected candidate will be directly involved in the research work of the Center for Cognitive Science of Language within 50% of the working time.
In the position of lecturer for the Slovenian language, the selected candidate will, in accordance with the election, be involved in the teaching process in the undergraduate and master's study program Cultural History and Slovenian Studies of the Faculty of Humanities, within 50% of the working time.
Eligibility criteria:
- PhD degree,
- the title of an assistant and lecturer or the eligibility to obtain a relevant title,
- the ability to work independently,
- work experience gained after obtaining the PhD degree,
- good command of the English language.
The position shall be available immediately after the closing of the selection procedure. Employment is offered as a full-time position and for a period of 12 months.
