Today at the University of Nova Gorica, in the Lanthieri Mansion, the Vice-rector for Research and Arts, Prof. Dr. Gvido Bratina, received the visit of the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Her Excellency Ms Tiffany Sadler.

After an introductory presentation of teaching and research activities, the talk turned to the University’s collaborations with UK institutions in the fields of astronomy, solid-state physics, materials, linguistics and biomedicine.
The meeting, intended to explore new opportunities for mutual cooperation, was also attended by Dragan Barbutovski, Director of the British Council in Slovenia.
