ŽRK Mlinotest is the best in Slovenia in the youth competitions results’ grand total
Female handball club Mlinotest Ajdovščina, with which the University of Nova Gorica signed a collaboration agreement last year, got another recognition that reaffirms the club’s efforts towards improving female handball in Ajdovščina.
They were recognized as the best team in the previous season by the Slovene Handball Federation for the second time in a row. In the year 2013/2014, ŽRK Mlinotest Ajdovščina is the best team among younger teams.
The idea is to join the competing clubs together, as that already brings additional motivation to the clubs to work better and to nurture young female and male players. At the same time, it gives an interesting overview of what has been happening in this extremely important segment of Slovene handball.
Since we are well aware of the importance of an active lifestyle, especially in one’s youth, we enabled all the sportsmen and sportswomen who study at the University of Nova Gorica to experience study programs that are in in line with current scholarship yet designed in such way that they support the students’ sports goals. Thus, we want them to be able to realize their dreams.
