Student statement: Catherine Potvin, graduate of the MA study programme European Master in Migration and Intercultural Relations
As part of the European Master in Migration and Intercultural Relations (EMMIR) Erasmus Mundus program, run also by the University of Nova Gorica’s School of Humanities, we had the opportunity to study in Ljubljana for one semester. It was overall an amazing experience, and not just because we were lucky enough to have wonderful fall weather the entire time! Slovenia is a breathtakingly beautiful country, and the people are warm and welcoming everywhere you go. Ljubljana is also extremely well-connected to other major cities in Slovenia and in the neighboring countries, which makes it an ideal destination for students who are looking to add some tourism during their studies.
I was truly impressed by how much we all loved our stay in Slovenia, and I definitely look forward to going back in the future.
