Jana Čelebičić
Hello! My name is Jana Čelebičić and I am a third year student at the University of Nova Gorica, where I am finishing my Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Astrophysics. I was born in Sarajevo, where I completed both my primary and secondary education. After graduating high school, I pursued my dream of studying physics and astrophysics, and for that reason decided to apply and then enrol to study in Slovenia, more precisely at the University of Nova Gorica. During my studies, I got the opportunity to continuously improve my knowledge through various courses and projects, as well as the individual approach of the professors and by spending numerous hours in the research laboratories of my faculty. Moreover, during my second year of studies I got the opportunity to conduct my own research at the Laboratory of Quantum Optics as part of the project financed by the Slovenian Ministry for Education, Science and Sport. Upon completing the project, the laboratory offered me the position of a student research assistant. Despite the fact that I am about to finish my studies in Slovenia soon, I am sure that the knowledge and experience gained throughout these three years will undoubtedly contribute to the advancement of my future career as a physicist.
