Sofia Dashko

My name is Sofia.
I was born in Ukraine and at the age of 23 I discovered Slovenia as my second home. I did my PhD in Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology at University of Nova Gorica in the field of yeast impact in wine fermentations. That was exciting topic, not ordinary one and not in ordinary place. Research process was not always smooth, as usual with lots of challenges, but, also lots of good experience and fun. It is not a boring country, it is sunny and breathtaking, with people who are willing to help and to become your friends.
