Olena Pliekhova

I’ve came to the University of Nova Gorica in Slovenia as an exchange PhD student. Since first minutes in here I have fallen in love with it. Why? Gorgeous nature, fresh air and nice quiet towns and villages – it is how it looks like. Absolute comfort and safety – these are feelings that have been filled me on the way from the Ljubljana airport to the student dorm and staying inside during the last 6 months.
University of Nova Gorica is like a mirror image or a miniature copy of Slovenia. Nothing huge, nevertheless, the labs and offices are well-equipped and comfortable, professors and staff are well-educated and very responsive.
Ii is a great pleasure to be here, to be a part of studying process in Slovenia.
