Summer schools on sustainable building and cities
As part of the activities of the ACROSS European Cross-border University Network, Bialystok University of Technology from Poland will host two summer schools from 30th June to 9th July 2025, offering students a chance to explore sustainable solutions in architecture and urban planning.
The schools provide participants with the opportunity to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and discuss innovative approaches to sustainability.
Two summer schools will be offered:
1. VIPSKILLS – Effective Solutions for Sustainable Buildings
2. GLOCAL – Effective Solutions for Sustainable City
PERIOD AND LOCATION:
Classes will be held:
- on-site at the Bialystok University of Technology, Poland, from 30th June to 9th July 2025, followed by
- online sessions from 14th July to 18th July 2025.
FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR UNG STUDENTS
Students from the University of Nova Gorica, as well as form other partner universities of the ACROSS network (Universities from Banja Luka, Chemnitz, Bialystok, Craiova, Girona, Perpignan, Udine, and Ruse) may apply for funding through the “Support for European Universities” Project. Selected participants will receive:
- A scholarship to cover travel expenses to Poland
- A lump sum for living and accommodation costs
- A residency scholarship
