He graduated in Cultural Studies from Faculty of Social Sciences (University in Ljubljana, Slovenia), he is a PhD student of Film and TV Studies at Univeristy of Ljubljana Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television (University in Ljubljana, Slovenia).
He is employed at the Univeristy of Nova Gorica School of Arts as a Senior Lecturer, he is here also a producer. He is a lecturer of film and media theory & history at other colleges, and he is the instructor of new film mentors at National Education Institute Slovenia. He is a mentor in creative centres and hubs for perspective cultural project of young artists. He regularly publishes film critics & articles in main Slovenian film magazines. He is also a member of the international association of film critics FIPRESCI. He attends in different juries at film festivals.
