Ceremonial Awarding of Bachelor's and Master's Diplomas, Student Awards, and the Promotion of Doctors of Science
On 26 and 27 November 2025, the Lanthieri Mansion in Vipava hosted the ceremonial awarding of bachelor's and master's diplomas, the student awards alumnus primus and alumnus optimus, and the promotion of new doctors of science of the University of Nova Gorica.
Thirty-three bachelor’s diplomas were awarded to graduates of the School of Engineering and Management, the School of Arts, the School of Science, the School for Viticulture and Enology, the School of Humanities, and the School of Environmental Sciences.
Fifteen graduates of the master’s programmes from the School of Environmental Sciences, the School of Arts, the School of Humanities, and the School of Engineering and Management received their master’s diplomas.
The Rector of the University of Nova Gorica, Prof. Dr. Boštjan Golob, promoted three new female doctors and three new male doctors of science from the Graduate School in the study programmes Materials, Environmental Sciences, Humanities, and Karstology.
We also awarded fifteen graduates of the School of Engineering and Management, the School of Arts, the School of Science, the School for Viticulture and Enology, the School of Humanities, and the School of Environmental Sciences. The alumnus primus award was presented to nine graduates who graduated as the first in their generation of enrolled students, while the alumnus optimus award was presented to nine graduates who achieved the highest average study grade among the graduates in each academic year.
