The RE RENOVATE symposium
The RE RENOVATE symposium is organized by IUAV University in Venice in collaboration with numerous prestigious institutions, including the University of Nova Gorica, a long-standing partner of IUAV in educational and research projects.
The symposium is aimed at all those who believe that the future of Europe’s built environment depends on a radical rethinking of how we inhabit, preserve, and adapt our architectural heritage.
The symposium will contribute to the development of new guidelines for participatory renovation, which will be finalized and presented on the occasion of the European Capital of Culture Oulu 2026. The goal is to create a lasting network of innovation connecting cultural capitals across Europe and fostering collective reflection on the future of our built environment.
