Professional Associate (m/f/o)

At the School of Postgraduate Studies of the University of Nova Gorica, we offer the study program Cultural Heritage Studies. The University of Nova Gorica is seeking a highly motivated collaborator to support the University as a partner institution in the EU-funded project Re-Value (HORIZON EUROPE).

The selected candidate will join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team working in an encouraging research and academic environment and will be responsible for the following tasks and duties:

• support in the design and conceptual development of urban and landscape design plans and solutions,
• assist in digital design and visualization processes, including rendering, photo editing, and related tasks,
• contribute to research activities and the preparation of scientific publications related to project topics,
• assist in the coordination and implementation of project activities, including the preparation of reports, deliverables, and milestones,
• manage project-related internal and external communications (website, social media, newsletters, etc.),
• support the CHS unit in other research, project, administrative, and organizational duties as required

Eligibile candidates are expected to have:

• higher education professional degree or first-cycle Bologna degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, or Landscape Architecture,
• independence, flexibility, precision, and accuracy, with strong motivation and the ability to work effectively in a team,
• excellent spoken and written command of Slovenian and English,
• experience with EU or EU Member State grant management and reporting at international, national, or local levels is desirable,
• experience and/or interest in culture, cultural industries, and cultural heritage is desirable,
• previous experience working in a research or academic institution is desirable,
• availability to travel,
• minimum of two years of relevant professional experience.

The position is based at the University of Nova Gorica, in Rožna Dolina, and will be available immediately after the selection process is completed or by agreement.
The employment contract will be concluded for full-time work, for a fixed term of 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
