Postdoctoral associate in the field of chemistry (m/f/o)

This position is available to candidates interested in pursuing a research and academic career at the University of Nova Gorica. We offer the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supported by state-of-the-art research equipment and strong involvement in international research.
Research activities will take place at the Materials Research Laboratory and they involve the synthesis, functionalization, and characterization of various nanomaterials. In accordance with their appointment, the candidate will also take on teaching duties on selected study programmes at the University of Nova Gorica.

**Candidates are expected to: **

• PhD in chemistry or similar fields,
• knowledge and experience in synthesis, functionalization, and characterization of organic and inorganic materials,
• knowledge and experience in working with scanning electron microscope,
• excellent command of the Slovenian and English languages.

The anticipated start date is 1. 4. 2025. The contract is for full-time working hours over a fixed term of 12 months.
