Full professor in the field of electrical engineering (m/f)
The University of Nova Gorica has a vacancy for the position of full professor in the field of electrical engineering.

Due to the expansion of activities we are seeking candidates interested in pursuing a rewarding academic career at the University of Nova Gorica. We offer a dynamic research environment with a focus on involvement in the international academic activities.
The candidate will work in the Centre for systems and information technologies and applied mathematics in an interdisciplinary research group that operates at the intersection of computer science, information science, mathematics, system theory and automatic control systems. The group develops new approaches to modelling and applies them to a variety of fields, from biomedicine to education and industry. It also develops methods for intelligent data analysis and knowledge discovery.
The selected candidate will conduct research in the field of electrical engineering. Under the terms of their appointment, the successful candidate will also assume teaching duties at the School of engineering and management of the University of Nova Gorica.
Eligible candidates should have:
- a doctorate in the field of electrical engineering;
- hold the rank of full professor or meet the conditions for holding the rank of full professor;
- a command of English language at C1 level (SEJO/CEFR).
Employment is offered at the location of the University of Nova Gorica in the Lanthieri Mansion, Vipava. We will conclude the contract for full-time work, for an indefinite period starting on September 1, 2023 or by agreement.

- evidence of meeting the eligibility criteria.
