On 2 September, at a festivity in Zagorje ob Savi, the National Institute of Chemistry awarded this year’s two Pregl awards for outstanding achievements in the field of chemistry and related disciplines as well as two Janko Kamnik doctoral scholarships.

One of this year’s laureates was Prof. Dr. Nataša Zabukovec Logar, head of the Department of Inorganic Chemistry and Technology at the National Institute for Chemistry, director of the Materials Sciences master’s study programme at the University of Nova Gorica, and member of the University’s Senate.
